Common questions
Does Trail Pals need an account or the internet?
No. There's no sign-up and no login, and the app works fully offline. Nothing your child does is sent anywhere — it all stays on the device.
Is it safe for young children?
Yes. Trail Pals is built for ages 2–5 and listed in the App Store Kids Category. There are no third-party ads, no tracking, no chat, and no open web. Settings and the optional purchase sit behind a simple grown-ups gate.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the Grown-Ups Corner (behind the parental gate) and tap "Restore Purchases." As long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID that made the original purchase, your unlock will come right back at no charge.
What does the optional purchase include?
Trail Pals is free to play. One optional one-time purchase unlocks bonus sing-along songs and extra "Did you know?" facts. It is a single non-consumable purchase — never a subscription — and is always placed behind the parental gate.
How do I turn off the sound or manage settings?
Everything is in the Grown-Ups Corner, reached through the simple parental gate on the home screen. From there you can manage audio, content, and the optional purchase.
What data do you collect?
None. See our privacy policy for the full details — the short version is that Trail Pals collects nothing and keeps everything on your device.
