Common questions

Does Parlor work offline?

Yes — Parlor is fully playable offline. The AI rivals think on-device, so no internet or account is needed to play. When you're online, characters can use higher-quality streamed voices, but a connection is never required.

What games are included?

Four: Chess (a tournament-grade engine), Go (real rules on 9×9, 13×13 and 19×19), Risk (world-map conquest for 2–8 players), and GeoQuest (pin where on Earth a real photo was taken).

Who are the characters?

Ten rivals host the tables, each with their own voice, personality and playing style — from Pip the apprentice to Viktor the undefeated champion. Five legendary guests (Napoleon, Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, Cleopatra and Ada Lovelace) can be unlocked through play or with Parlor Premium.

What's the mystery?

“The Founder's Last Game” is a murder mystery woven through the house. You gather clues by playing, then name the culprit, the weapon and the room. Every case is generated fresh, so no two solve the same way.

What does Parlor Premium include, and how do I restore it?

One optional purchase unlocks three cinematic themes that re-skin every board and the whole interface, matching app icons, and instant access to all five legendary characters. To restore it, open the Shop and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID.

Is it suitable for kids?

Parlor is rated 9+ for a text-only murder-mystery theme (there is no depicted violence and no gambling). The strategy games themselves are family-friendly.
