Privacy Policy

Meshology is offline-first and on-device. The short version: we collect nothing, and your messages and location stay on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Meshology does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or any server. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.

Messages

All messages are stored locally on your device. They travel only across your LoRa mesh radios — never through any cloud service or server of ours. An optional end-to-end Secure layer adds forward secrecy on top, applied locally on your device.

Location

Your location is never sent to us. It stays on your device and is only broadcast to the mesh if you turn on position sharing. Other nodes' locations are only shown to you if those people choose to share them.

Bluetooth

Meshology uses Bluetooth solely to communicate with your Meshtastic and/or MeshCore radios. No Bluetooth data is sent anywhere except to your radios.

Maps

Offline map tiles are stored on your device. Meshology does not report what you view, where you are, or who you talk to.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
