Common questions
Can it really use Meshtastic and MeshCore at the same time?
Yes — that's the whole point. Connect one Meshtastic and one MeshCore radio over Bluetooth and Meshology shows everyone your radios can hear from both networks in one roster, one map, and one inbox. Someone on both meshes becomes a single contact.
I don't see any nodes — is something wrong?
Usually not. Mesh networks are quiet by nature; nodes only transmit when they have something to send. Give it time, and turn on position sharing in settings if you want to announce yourself to others.
How do I connect my radio?
Pair your Meshtastic or MeshCore radio with your iPhone over Bluetooth, then open Meshology and select it. You bring your own radio; the app is the console.
How do I know a message was actually delivered?
Meshology tells you the truth instead of guessing: Delivered means the recipient acknowledged it, Relayed means a repeater heard it but we can't confirm the recipient got it, and Failed explains why — usually out of range or too many hops.
What is Secure messaging?
An optional end-to-end encryption layer that adds forward secrecy neither native network offers on its own. It's opt-in per conversation and runs entirely on your device.
