Privacy Policy

Neon Synthetics is private by design. The short version: we collect nothing, and nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Neon Synthetics does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

How your data is handled

• All processing — AI chat, dictation, transcription, notes, recordings, and music — happens entirely on your device.
• The app contains no networking code. It works in Airplane Mode.
• Your conversations, notes, recordings, samples, and beats are stored only on your device (and in your own iCloud/device backups, which are controlled by your iOS settings, not by us).

Permissions

Microphone and Speech Recognition are used only for on-device voice dictation and transcription, using Apple's on-device recognizer. Audio is never sent to us or any third party.

Purchases

Neon Synthetics is free. It offers a single optional one-time in-app purchase (NEON PRO) that unlocks the full music studio. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment information.

Children's privacy

Because no data is collected, the app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
